Medical Administrator II Option C - Opt 06/Medical Director

Description of Duties/Essential Functions Benefits Supplemental Questions
Directs, coordinates and supervises Physicians, Dental, Pharmacy, Laboratory and X-ray services at the Wm. W. Fox Center. Maintains the overall quality of clinical care provided to individuals of the facility including planning, staff administration and implementation of medical treatment regimens, individual care programs and services of the facility. Develops, implements and monitors policies and procedures related to established standards for medical care services, medical ethics, licensing/regulations, the Illinois Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities code, DHS Directive, Fox Center policies and procedures, CMS standards and other applicable laws and regulations.
Minimum Requirements:Requires an Illinois license to practice medicine and completion of an approved Internal Medicine residency established by an American Specialty Board. Requires three years of substantive medical administrative experience in medical/clinical or medical programs direction, planning and evaluation. Requires ability to supervise and coordinate staff and the activities of other professional disciplines. Requires ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with various professional disciplines. Must be able to communicate in English orally and in written form; requires ability to conduct rounds.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
